I trekked an impressive twenty kilometers in a single day, traversing three stunning hiking trails: Sendero Arrayanes, Sendero Villa Tacil and Cerro Llao Llao, and Sendero Lago Escondidos and Bahia Los Troncos. As I wandered alone through the majestic mountains, serene lakes, and babbling rivers, I felt incredibly small, humbled by the breathtaking beauty and intricate complexity of nature.

Our ancestors were once cradled by these natural wonders, only to gradually drift away as civilization advanced. Returning to nature, even for just a day, can be physically demanding, but it’s like breathing in a lungful of pure, invigorating oxygen.

Despite the weather not being on my side, the panoramic view of Moreno Lake from the summit of Cerro Llao Llao was absolutely stunning, though capturing its true essence in photographs proved challenging. Among the trails, Cerro Llao Llao stood out as the most rewarding, with the round trip taking roughly three hours. The first half of the hike was a gentle and peaceful stroll, while the second half required more effort, but the awe-inspiring vistas made every step worthwhile.

Wow, those trails sound amazing! I’d love to see the Arrayanes forest in person; it must be surreal to hike through such untouched beauty. Have you explored any other hidden gems nearby?
