Argentina Electronic Visa & Tourist Sticker Visa: Easy Application Guide 2023

🇦🇷 There are two primary methods to secure an Argentine visa: the Argentine Electronic Travel Authorization (AVE, or e-Visa) and a personal ten-year multiple-entry tourist visa, often referred to as the “sticker visa.”
🇦🇷 It’s important to note that if your travel is for business or other specific purposes, you must apply for a traditional paper visa.

❓Choosing Between Sticker Visa and E-Visa❓
🇦🇷 For travelers planning a single or double visit to Argentina and preferring to avoid the hassle of an embassy interview, the AVE e-Visa is a convenient and cost-effective choice. The e-Visa offers ease and affordability but has a limited validity period of three months.

🇦🇷 For frequent travelers to Argentina, the ten-year multiple-entry sticker visa is recommended. This visa provides long-term convenience with a 10-year validity, although it involves a more complex application process, including an in-person interview.

Conditions for Applying for an E-Visa:
1. Possession of a valid US visa (b1/b2/J/0/P1-P2-P3/E/H-1B)
2. Intention to visit Argentina only once in the near future

Materials Required for a Ten-Year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa:
1⃣ Completed application form (2023 version)
2⃣ Copies of passport and any existing visas
3⃣ Copy of ID card, with a translation on the same page
4⃣ Detailed itinerary in Spanish or English, signed on each page (for tourism purposes)
5⃣ Confirmed air tickets and hotel reservations
6⃣ An electronic invitation letter (TAD), providing the electronic invitation number starting with EX, or a traditional paper invitation with notarization and authentication, or an original work contract (for work visas)
7⃣ Notarized and authenticated employment certificate or retirement certificate, along with copies
8⃣ Copy of business license, translated and stamped
9⃣ Bank statements from the last three months
🔟 Copy of property deed

Good to know there are different options like the AVE and the sticker visa! I’m planning a trip next year, so this guide will definitely come in handy. Just wondering if the processing times are similar for both types of visas?
