Navigation: Qida Qiguan Peak (Mountain Climbing Entrance)
– It’s often said that cars can drive all the way to the summit.
– On my visit during May Day, however, traffic police had cordoned off the road at the intersection, forcing all vehicles to park along the roadside.
– Roadside parking is free, though it depends on availability—if you find a spot, feel free to park.

Perfect Time for Photos: Afternoon + Sunny Weather
The ultimate photo spots are highlighted in Figure 3. Once you reach the peak, head left, scale the largest rock, and carefully cross the railing. (It’s not exactly a cliff edge, but there’s still an open drop below, so tread with caution!)

Friendly Reminder:
– Dining in the village can be a bit of a challenge. The roads are incredibly narrow, and during holidays, expect long queues just to snag a table. Most eating places resemble simple food stalls, so don’t come expecting fine dining.
– From the entrance, the entire climb consists of steps—rumor has it there are over 1,800 of them! It took me about 1.5 hours to reach the top, including breaks and photo stops along the way.
