The memories of Brazil linger vividly after returning:
1. In May, it was nearing the local winter, and the weather was exceptionally pleasant—bright sunshine, a comfortable temperature hovering around 20 degrees Celsius, and lush greenery everywhere. I’ve heard that even in summer, the heat isn’t unbearable, with temperatures rarely exceeding 35 degrees.

2. The people are incredibly warm, friendly, and talkative. Every single person I encountered—whether familiar or not—was unbelievably kind! And almost everyone places immense importance on family life.
3. A passion for football is deeply embedded in their DNA. Brazilians adore sports, each person proudly supporting their own team, which they wear on their sleeves.

4. São Paulo feels a bit like Hong Kong, dotted with hills that make you go up and down as you explore the city.
5. The beans are heavenly—soft, flavorful, and pair beautifully with rice, creating a satisfying meal.
6. Credit cards are widely accepted, and cash isn’t used much. However, be cautious of potential credit card fraud.

7. Uber is an absolute lifesaver—it’s convenient and far safer than public transportation, making it ideal for getting around.
8. Most locals only speak Portuguese, so having a translation app handy on your phone is highly recommended.
9. Keep an eye on your wallet and phone; avoid using your phone openly on the street and steer clear of carrying flashy bags that might attract unwanted attention.

10. Walking alone at night truly isn’t advisable. Even during the day, certain areas like the city center and around the cathedral can be risky. Local colleagues in São Paulo rarely visit these spots themselves and advised us to simply drive past when we mentioned our plans.
11. Avenida Paulista comes alive on Sundays when the entire street transforms into a pedestrian-friendly zone filled with lively events.

12. Campinas offers a more livable environment compared to São Paulo, with relatively better security.
13. Life moves at a much slower, more relaxed pace. After work, people often head to a bar first, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere before dinner around 8 PM—a routine that could easily lead to weight gain [laugh-cry emoji].

14. Chinese-made cars have made significant inroads in the market and are well-received by locals. Brands like Haval, BYD, and Chery dominate the roads.
15. Lastly, the local fruits deserve special mention—pineapples and papayas that are outrageously delicious, bursting with juice, perfectly sweet without being overwhelming.

Eating them fresh every morning becomes a joy you never tire of!
