Just landed in Bogotá 🇨🇴, the vibrant capital of Colombia, and guess what? That adorable, chubby version of the Mona Lisa painting is actually real! [KissR][doge]

This masterpiece resides in the Botero Museum—a completely free museum that’s an absolute must-visit. Oh, and by the way, its entrance might also be a stop for the city’s sightseeing trolley (check out Picture 16)!

Starting from Picture 9: welcome to the breathtaking Gold Museum of Bogotá, or *Museo del Oro*. This place is pure magic. In Picture 9, I stumbled upon what looks like a cute ancient koala 🐨—or at least that’s what it reminded me of! [CryingLaughingR]

Picture 10 showcases the crown jewel of the museum: the legendary “Muisca Golden Raft.” It’s absolutely stunning and steeped in history.

In Picture 13, there’s this quirky little warrior figure holding what appears to be a teapot (?). So random, so Bogotá! [CryingLaughingR]

And then there’s Picture 15, where the clay sculptures have such charming expressions—they practically smile back at you! ☺️

Entrance to the museum costs 5000 pesos per person, but here’s a pro tip: admission is free every Sunday!
