🎈 **Specific Location Tips**
**Nusa Penida**
✅ Purchase ferry tickets conveniently through Klook. Double-check the ferry company, collect your ticket from their physical store, and follow the instructions to board the ferry effortlessly.
**Komodo**
✅ Take a direct flight from Bali airport to Komodo (round-trip around 300 RMB). Upon arrival, find a boat near the pier. We opted for a one-day slow boat at 600k IDR per person, with an additional entrance fee required upon landing. While we didn’t spot any Komodo dragons, we negotiated with the captain beforehand and paid only 200k IDR. Highlights include Padar Island, Pink Beach, and incredible snorkeling spots.
**Kuta**
✅ Book a surfing session on Klook for just 80 RMB (1.5 hours). This is significantly cheaper than in China, and the instructors were incredibly responsible. We recommend starting around 4 PM so you can enjoy a spectacular sunset after your surf session.
**Ubud**
✅ Traveling from Kuta to Ubud? Opt for the bus—it costs a flat rate of 2 RMB, far more economical than a taxi. Don’t miss out on the grilled ribs at Warung Kayana in Ubud—a local favorite that won’t disappoint!
**Ijen Crater**
✅ From Ubud to Banyuwangi, take the K2B bus to the terminal, then hop onto a minibus to Gilimanuk for 60k IDR per person (about a 4-5 hour ride to the pier). Ferry tickets can be purchased at roadside booths for 18k IDR per person.
✅ We chose to visit Ijen during the daytime and met only a few foreigners along the way. The experience was peaceful, refreshing, and not overly exhausting—an absolute highlight of our trip!
Embark on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure and create memories that will last forever. Happy travels! 🌴
Bromo Crater
✅ Traveling from Banyuwangi to Probolinggo by train? No worries—just head to Taobao or Xianyu, where you can find services to help book your tickets. Prices vary depending on the type of train you choose, so be sure to compare options before locking in your choice!
✅ For a budget-friendly adventure, consider renting a motorcycle for your Bromo journey (check out Xiaohongshu for detailed photos and tips).
On our trip, we visited the crater in the afternoon on Day 1, soaking in its otherworldly beauty. The next morning, we caught the breathtaking sunrise from the viewing platform. Both experiences were perfectly paced, allowing us plenty of time to savor the moments while skillfully avoiding the notorious jeep traffic jams.
Surabaya
✅ Returning from Probolinggo to Surabaya? Simply purchase bus tickets at the Probolinggo bus station. Pro tip: Splurge on the air-conditioned express bus for just 75k IDR—it’s worth every penny! Avoid buses that make frequent roadside stops; they’re not only slower but also significantly less comfortable in the heat.
