Del Valle Lake offers a pet-friendly trail that’s perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and their furry companions. I recently went hiking there with some friends and our dogs, and let me tell you—it’s surprisingly easygoing. Even with leisurely breaks along the way, we reached the summit in under an hour. The two adorable short-legged pups were showered with love and attention from everyone who crossed their path! [Cute R]
One word of caution: the parking lot on Arroyo Road is tiny. We arrived around 1 PM and managed to snag a spot after just ten minutes of waiting—consider ourselves lucky! I wouldn’t recommend taking your chances with street parking, though. While we were there, we spotted a police officer 🚔 stepping out of their car and swiftly issuing tickets left and right, ticking off their quota in no time flat. [Laugh-cry R]
