Our journey began in Jardin, a place so enchanting that we wondered how anything could possibly top it. Little did we know, the next destination—Cocora Valley—would leave us utterly speechless. Today, we embarked on a short yet stunning loop trail that took nearly four and a half hours to complete. Along the way, we paused and moved forward again, discovering countless treasures and wonders.
At times, people mistook us for being Japanese or Korean instead of Chinese, adding an amusing twist to our adventure.
We also crossed paths with numerous dog owners, sharing laughter and camaraderie as we showed them photos we had secretly snapped of others along the trail. To our delight, we encountered Europeans practicing qigong once again—a recurring theme during our travels. Many Westerners we’ve met have embraced “Tao” and qigong, and they proudly shared that their parents are accomplished qigong masters. As for me? Well, I practice yoga—go figure!
