During my fourth year in Peru, I finally reached the long-awaited Huaraz—a destination that has stolen my heart and ranks as the most breathtaking place I’ve visited in Peru!

The trek to Lake 69 is nothing short of spectacular, rivaling the iconic trails of Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park. What’s more, it’s incredibly budget-friendly! The entire trip cost me just a few hundred soles, and I can’t wait to return for another adventure.
I highly recommend purchasing an all-inclusive bus ticket, which costs only 140 soles round-trip, while the guided hike itself is merely a fraction of that.

My plans are set to revisit in July or August when the weather is perfect, and this time, I’m eager to explore the stunning glacier routes as well.
