This might be the most unique little cabin I’ve ever stayed in! Nestled near Cusco, Peru, on a breathtaking cliff, we geared up with ropes 🪢 and equipment, stepped onto narrow iron plates, crossed a swaying suspension bridge, and climbed step by step to this capsule cabin hanging in the air, attached to the cliff!! The experience was absolutely mind-blowing [WowR]
The cabins are divided into two areas: Sky Lodge and Star Lodge. The Sky Lodge is perched higher up on the cliff and offers a more challenging climb. We opted for the slightly lower (but still hundreds of meters high!) and better-equipped Star Lodge. In addition to our private cabin, we could also soak in an open-air hot spring while gazing at the stunning mountain scenery! The prepared dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, served course by course, making it feel like a fine dining experience?? After dinner, we had to climb back up the cliff in the dark to return to our room, making even sleeping a thrilling adventure 🤣
We also decided to add the zip line activity, which involved scaling another cliff and then sliding down seven exhilarating zip lines. Although the climb was tiring, the zip lining part was incredibly fun! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a truly special and unforgettable experience in Peru!! [ThumbsUpR]
