[One R] The flight attendant from VietJet Air distributed the entry cards, but unfortunately, no pens were provided. We had to fill them out in the arrival hall after disembarking. Friendly reminder: Always bring your own pen. The counters have very few pens, and with long queues, it can be a real time-waster.
[Two R] We arrived in Melbourne close to 11 PM on September 28, 2025. By the time I finished filling out the entry card, it was almost midnight. After picking up the completed entry card, I handed it to the staff at the exit. Once he checked it and returned my passport and entry card, I asked if I could get a stamp. He pointed to the glass counter behind him and directed me there for the stamp.
[Three R] I found a tall, handsome guy and struck up a conversation. He was very accommodating and stamped the page I requested. He then went into a small room to complete the process. While waiting, I chatted with a Chinese-speaking girl who mentioned that it’s quite rare for single women to travel alone in Australia. She also shared with the handsome guy about my solo trips to 25 countries, and she said it was impressive. Before leaving, I thanked them both and wished them a nice day.
[Four R] After getting the stamp, I handed the entry card to the staff, and he directed me to the appropriate channel. Since I had nothing to declare, I went through the green channel directly.
[Five R] Given the late hour, I decided to stay overnight at the airport. Directly opposite the MELBOURNE sign in T2, there are some seats. To the left of the MELBOURNE sign, upstairs, are the departure halls for T1 and T3. I stayed overnight in the T3 departure hall, where there were staff on duty, making it relatively safe, but be sure to keep your valuables secure.
Some seats have charging outlets, but they are limited, so look around. I heard there are shower facilities at the airport, but I didn’t look for them. It gets quite cold at night, so bring a warm jacket! Wishing everyone a smooth journey!
