Today, I decided to stay close to the Marriott Hotel on Small Perhentian Island and explore the local scenery. In the morning, I ventured to Beach No.1, which you can see in photos 7 and 8. Unfortunately, I left my drone behind, and the weather was a bit gloomy. I managed to snorkel for about 15 minutes before a heavy rain forced me to retreat to my room.

Later, at 2:30 in the afternoon, I headed to Beach No.2, known for its romantic ambiance (photos 1-5). This time, I brought my drone and flew it under the blazing sun. The walk from the hotel to the beach was breathtaking, though the heat was intense. I made a mental note to return when the sun was less fierce. By 4 o’clock, the water had become a bit murky, and the once-vibrant blue sea had lost some of its charm.

I had no idea about the turtle conservation efforts there! Snorkeling with turtles sounds amazing, but helping release them into the wild feels even more rewarding. Definitely adding this to my travel bucket list.
