Amboseli in Kenya, a sanctuary for majestic elephants, was where I spent five rejuvenating days last April.
On one misty morning, the towering Mount Kilimanjaro emerged in stunning clarity, its snow-capped peak a breathtaking sight. Herds of elephants moved gracefully across the landscape, pausing occasionally to graze on the lush grass. The vibrant greenery that surrounded me was the most vivid and alive I had ever witnessed.
